About Us

Founded as "The Village Cafe" in 1985 by Randy Cox and later joined by Wayne Bunting, we began our story as a small local establishment. Over the years, Randy and Wayne always strived to be one step ahead of the market, and while the red meat craze dominated the 80s, they discovered that chicken was the protein choice of the future. Our famous Key West Chicken began in 1988 and quickly became the cornerstone of our menu. Our restaurant has evolved over the years, but you will find the same dedication to quality, flavor, and exceptional service with every visit.

Nearly four decades later, The Village Grill is still thriving as a Burlington staple, known for our commitment to fresh, vibrant, and delicious American cuisine. We characterize ourselves as an "elevated casual" atmosphere, welcoming guests of all different attires and occasions. Whether you're here for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a special celebration, you can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a menu that caters to all.

After 40 years of operating on Huffman Mill Rd, we have relocated to a newly renovated building on South Church St in Burlington. Now operated by Randy and his daughter Katherine, we look forward to serving you for many more years to come. Thank you for supporting us and being a part of our story
